Christopher Robert Evans is an American actor. He began his acting career as a character actor in television series, like Opposite Sexual Sex in the year 2000. In the following years, he appeared in numerous teens' films, including 2001's Not Another Teen Movie he gained attention for his portrayal of Marvel Comics character, the Human Torch in 2005's Fantastic Four and its sequel Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer (2007). Evans was featured in a variety of films that adapted comic books and graphic novels, like TMNT (2007) Scott Pilgrim against. the World (2009) and Snowpiercer (2013). As well as his part as Captain America/Steve Rogers, Evans gained recognition through the Marvel Cinematic Universe movies Captain America: The First Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2015) and Captain America: Civil War. His work on the Marvel series helped establish him as one of the highest paid actors.
